its ‘engine’ to capture Bancassurance
in the second stage beginning in Apr.
next year. As auto insurance gets included
in the second stage of Bancassurance,
INSWAVE is planning to target major
banks and insurance companies with the
next generation insurance system that
combines various operation processes,
data management, coordinated call centers,
and web marketing. INSWAVE, having constructed
on-line auto insurance systems for the
First Fire & Marine Insurance, Daeum
Direct, and Educar, has introduced ‘Proworks,’
the solution of the next generation
for industrial application, the development,
and management as a whole. ‘Proworks’
is equipped with process supporting
systems for the development and management
of web application on the basis of a
user interface and component based on
web service and Extensible Markup Language
(XML). Mr. Se-yong Eo, the executive
officer of INSWAVE introduced, “By using
‘Proworks,’ the productivity concerning
development, maintenance, and repair
can be improved, significantly reducing
the technical adaptation period for
various elements needed for the construction
of web application of the next generation.
According to this, INSWAVE has decided
on the policy of excavating full-scale
demands, centering the web foundation
systems and web service expansion project,
such as Hyundai Marine & Fire Insurance,
which announced the entry to on-line
auto insurance.
